We recommend you hire a mercenary from Greiz and grab some antidotes from Lysander before heading down. The sewers are full of Burning Deads, Burning Dead Mages, Burning Dead Archers, and poisonous Dried Corpses, so Fire and Poison resistances will be pretty handy. The entrance you pick will not matter that much, but keep in mind that many Act II dungeons will have two entrances/exits.There are two entrances to the sewers, one beneath the Trap Door near Greiz, the other through the metal door right next to the city's port.Atma will ask you to put an end to this monster that has killed many of Lut Gholein's citizens, including her son and her husband. A 'horrid creature' has taken up residence in the sewers beneath Lut Gholein. The first quest in this Act is given to you when you speak to Atma, the tavern owner, for the first time. He'll sell a wide variety of potions, from the standard health and mana potions to antidotes.Lysander: Lysander occupies the town square of Lut Gholein. Kaelan: This NPC serves no other purpose than to guard an area you may not yet enter. Jerhyn: The sultan of Lut Gholein, Jerhyn will welcome you to the town at the beginning of the Act. One heals you periodically, one increases your Defense Rating, and one Increases your Attack Rating.However, their hireling skills are some of the best hireling buffs you can get in the game.Unlike the Rogues in Act I, these Desert Mercenaries can only utilize melee attacks. Greiz: This mercenary captain will hire out spear-wielding soldiers when he's not busy guarding the entrance to the sewers.

Geglash: The town drunk, Geglash can be found in Atma's pub. She's the all-in-one item seller in Lut Gholein, offering a large assortment of powerful weaponry and armor, as well as acting as the town's blacksmith. He also allows you to gamble merchandise just like Gheed.įara: This former Paladin will heal you when you speak to her.

Elzix: One of the innkeepers in Lut Gholein, he'll sell weapons and armor comparable to the quality you could get from Gheed in the first Act.
